DID YOU KNOW? Benegest Pro & Neigh Lox product review



Today we are going to compare Benegest Pro (helps with all around digestive health) and Neigh Lox (helps with stomach heath). Both of these products can be very beneficial for your horse! 

Let’s start with some of the ingredients 

Benegest Pro:
   A Blend of Fructo-Mamman-Oligosaccharides (FOS & MOS) a beta linked complex carbohydrate (seaweed, pectin and agar) to support beneficial microbe activity along the length of the gastro intestinal tract.
          A Combination of prebiotic and probiotic aids in correct fermentation function of the gut and                   maintains the integrity of the gut wall
   Probiotics to provide live yeast (s. cerevisiae & microbes) Help to maintain optimal balance of intrinsic microbes and act as competitive excluders to potential pathogens.
     Combines natural benefits of seaweed and oats to help boost immune function plus hemp oils to deliver up to 60% of essential fatty acids
Neigh Lox:
·         Active: Aluminum Phosphate and Dihydroxy-aluminum sodium carbonate
·       Inactive: calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, ground oats, ground wheat lecithin, and soybean oil.
·         Neigh lox patented formula supports a health stomach by neutralizing gastric acid and coating the stomach lining. It will coat the lining up to 8 hours. 

What horses are these products recommended for? 

Benegest Pro:
·        Horses of all ages, experiencing changes in their routines or in stressful conditions
·       Horses who are confined to a stall or dry lot when grazing is limited
·       Horses with a busying training or competition schedule
·       Horses being transported or relocated
·       Horses with restricted diets or consuming large amounts of starch
·       Safe for pregnant mares!

Neigh Lox:
·       Horses of all ages, experiencing changes in their routines or in stressful conditions
·       Horses who are confined to a stall or dry lot when grazing is limited
·       Horses with a busying training or competition schedule
·       Horses being transported or relocated
·       Horses with restricted diets or consuming large amounts of starch




Directions for Use: 

 Benegest Pro: Comes with a 4oz scoop

·       Up to 600lbs – 3oz per day
·       Over 600lbs – 4oz per day

Neigh Lox:
·       Weanlings: add 1 scoop to each grain meal (DO NOT exceed daily intake of 4 scoops)
·       Yearlings: add 2 scoops to each grain meal (DO NOT exceed daily intake of 8 scoops)
·       Horses: add 2 scoops to each grain meal (DO NOT exceed daily intake of 8 scoops)
·       Store in a cool dry place, keep lid tightly closed, shelf life 18 months

  1. Dont use anything with Aluminum in it... It goes through the blood Brain barrier.. look what it has done to our children and elderly-Autism and Alheizmers..
